Flexible, adaptable design

The Alfa Laval hygienic in-line instrumentation body product range offers a wide range of in-line instrumentation bodies according to DIN, ISO 1127, and ASME BPE dimension standards with an internal surface finish of Ra less than 0,8 µm. It can be welded into any piping system with various pipe diameters. Up to two instruments can easily be fitted with a clamp ring.                 

Modular and interchangeable

The modular concept provides interchangeable instrumentation and instruments are easy to remove for calibration or change to any type of instruments without welding and fast installation.

 Easy to clean

The in-line instrumentation body and instruments are fully drainable and cleanable both with CIP and SIP processes. The special instrumentation access and hygienic tank connection create a perfect seal, completely free of gaps or air pockets

Construction

The in-line instrumentation body provides a flexible, hygienic connection. It can be welded into any piping system with various pipe diameters and up to two instruments can easily be fitted with a clamp ring. The in-line instrumentation body and instruments are fully drainable and cleanable both with CIP and SIP processes

Operating principle

The in-line instrumentation body has two openings that accommodate two instruments at one time. When one or both of the openings are not being used for measurement, the connections can be closed with blind caps.

Options

 The In-line instrumentation bodies are available in various sizes

  • DN 25 – 101.6 (ISO 2852)
  • DN 25 – 100 (DIN32676)
  • Elastomer is standard EPDM, other options are avaible upon request
  • Internal surface finish of Ra less than 0,8 µm
