Innovative features of PureFerm separators
Bactofuge®
Alfa Laval Bactofuge® enables gentle and speedy continuous solids removal for high concentrations cultures, resulting in higher yield, with minimum risk of clogging. In addition to higher separation output, Bactofuge preserves the quality of the solids stream, and allows a flexible and controlled operation.
Hermetic Design™
Alfa Laval Hermetic Design™ improves product handling in a wide range of separation applications. The air-tight and bottom-fed bowl enables gentle acceleration of media, with minimal foaming and oxygen pick-up, providing high product yield and low filter costs.
eMotion™
Alfa Laval eMotion™ is a unique energy-saving module, available as an add-on for many of Alfa Laval’s separators. By creating a near-vacuum around the separator bowl, eMotion™ reduces air friction enough to improve energy efficiency. There are additional benefits of eMotion™, such as reduced noise levels, lower cooling requirements, and improved cleanability.
